We may only be seven games into a fledgling season, but already, I feel we may be slowly simmering towards another cla sic premiership campaign. Last year proved yet again that The Premier League is the most exciting, dramatic and engro sing league in the world. This was in no small part down to the teams of the North West of our fair isle. The North East played its part as well with Newcastle defying the odds by not falling away and having a fantastic season, but as a Boro fan, that will be the last you hear of that and I think I just came out in a rash after making such a statement. The undoubted stars of the division came from the West. We had Wigan rising from the ashes of like a phoenix to survive with fantastic results against Mariano Rivera Jersey what were seen to be more illustrious opponents. We had a king dethroned at Anfield and subsequently, what is seen as a tragic season for Liverpool, or could it be a comedy of errors, either way it made for compelling viewing. Im sure, however, it was a momentary blip and they will be stronger this year. I dont feel the results, particularly against the Manchester clubs and Arsenal; reflect the performances they have given so far. Anyway, the story of the season had to be the rivalry between Manchester United and Manchester City. I have not witne sed a crescendo to a season like that and I reluctantly accept that I may not again.It was a fantastic season, but C.C. Sabathia Jersey I do believe that this year as a whole has an opportunity to give us an exhilarating title race, that may not go down to a single goal in the final minute, but will give us more intrigue and anticipation than before. This is in large part to the resurgence of two London giants. There is another Merseyside sub plot with Everton starting well for a change, opening up their own chances of European football, but Arsenal and Chelsea may become the main protagonists in place of their Manchester rivals.Now, I am not a fool, I am not discounting Manchester United, it is very rare that they lose two on the bounce. Plus Manchester City have an unbelievable squad, arguably the best in the entire division, but there will be more than just the sibling rivalry of the two Manchester clubs this year. I believe it could be a four horse race, something which I would not have said in August. The aforementioned London clubs have impre sed me much more than I was expecting them to do David Robertson Jersey so and it has got me really looking forward to this years title race.Firstly, lets look at Arsenal, year upon year they play the most attractive football in the league without fruits for their labour. They lost their talisman in Van Persie who had an unbelievable season getting 30 league goals and at times seemed like he was carrying Arsenal on his back. So why do I think they are stronger this year? The immediate difference I notice in Arsenal is the way they approach set pieces and how their defence has discovered new found steel. Arsenal can now defend as well as attack and I dont need to tell Arsenal fans how valuable a strong back four can be. Their midfield now seems more complete with the trio of Diaby, Arteta and Cazorla, three players who work incredibly hard and have the creativity to maintain the Arsenal Brand of football.Diaby is e sentially a new signing after being plagued with such terrible luck with his injuries and he looks fantastic. A similar style to that of Toure at Man City and he could be key this year if Arsenal are to do well. Babe Ruth Jersey Santi Cazorla has been majestic so far this year. If Van Persie has taken 30 goals to Old Trafford, I believe Cazorla will be worth 20 of those through a sists and his own goal threat. Like many of his Spanish counterparts he is ble sed with fantastic technique and sublime vision, he is looking like he could be a bargain at 16m. Finally, the trio is completed by Mikel Arteta, who I believe has to be one of the most unlucky footballers of a generation because of the unbelievable competition for places in his national team. Often overlooked, his ability to retain po se sion, pick a pa s and provide that link between attack and defence is terrific. As a three, they hold the key to what could be a very exciting season in North London, with a proven goalscorer upfront in Podolski and these supplying ammunition, I think Didi Gregorius Jersey Wenger may have more than replaced Robin Van Persie.From North London to West now with Chelsea; the job that Di Matteo has done down there so far has been phenomenal. There was no doubts elements of luck in the way they achieved Champions league glory, but Di Matteo had a plan, create a solid base to build upon and well have a solid defence was the plan. This has been completely reversed though at the beginning of this season. Where Arsenal seem to have found balance by strengthening their defence, Chelsea have creativity and flair this season on top of that strong back line. Juan Mata, Oscar and Eden Hazard provide mouth-watering football at times and between them they have transformed this defensive outfit into a team that shows genuine flair in each game they play. The gaps between when we get to see the old Torres are becoming shorter and I wouldnt be surprised to see him around the top of the scoring charts this year.Both Arsenal and Chelsea have made some pretty significant strides this year and alongside their Manchester Rivals I think we might just see the most intriguing title race in years.
