Nicole Borgers, aged 11, and Joe Williams, age 10, have been chosen from hundreds of Taylor Rapp Jersey children as the new FA Tesco Skills Young Pundits.In January this year The FA Tesco Skills Programme began a search to find two budding young sports writers to become its first ever Young Pundits. Joe and Nicole made their case by writing a 200 word match report, impre sing judges with their knowledge of the beautiful game.Ruth Girardet Tesco Corporate Responsibility and Community Director said, We were very impre sed with the quality of all of the entries but both Joe and Nicoles really stood out. They have already attended the England vs Holland friendly at Wembley on 29th February, taking part in a pre-match FA Tesco Skills se sion on the pitch, and have written the first of several match reports for their own guest columns in First News, the award winning national childrens newspaper.Run by The FA and funded by Tesco and Sport England, The FA Tesco Skills Programme has provided high quality football skills courses for children aged 5-11, since 2007.
